The SECX series explosion-proof plugs are engineered for safe and reliable electrical connections in hazardous environments, including Zone 1, 2 (Gas) and Zone 21, 22 (Dust) areas. They are suitable for flammable atmospheres (Groups IIA, IIB, IIC) and are commonly used in oil fields, chemical plants, textile mills, and other industrial sectors requiring robust safety features.
Constructed from die-cast aluminum alloy with a powder-coated surface finish, these plugs offer excellent resistance to corrosion and impact. Their unique design features a mechanism that allows the plug to be safely withdrawn from the socket only after the switch is disconnected, ensuring operational safety. With an IP66 protection rating, they provide superior resistance to dust and water ingress. The SECX series supports cable diameters from 10mm to 14mm and comes in various pole configurations (1P+N, 3P+N, 3P+N+PE) and rated currents (16A, 32A).
